Hey guys!
Happy belated Thanksgiving to you all. I've been thinking lately about motivation. What is that motivates me? I've finally come up with an answer: the sweet chance to prove the cynics wrong. That and change. Sometimes the two go hand in hand for me. These things motivate to be successful. In fact my motivations are the beginning of a new piece. I don't have a title and only have a few working lines, but I want to share them. Ain't about the fame or the accolades No, it's not about the money honey The motivation not the standing ovation a new battle won and proved the cynics wrong still a work in progress, but the idea is there. ~C.C. Making calculations not enough time for this Now I make my move Trying something new but if feels like deja vu Glimpse of the pieces and it never ceases trying to figure out the riddle without the full puzzle Is life mine to choose or is it all just deja vu Time is standing still future, present, past Colliding, spininng till I'm ill Slipping by so fast and I'm paying out my dues or is it all just deja vu Glimpses of the pieces and it never ceases trying to figure out the riddle without the full puzzle Is life mine to choose or it all just deja vu One day it'll fit Events will all make sense But till then I'm following the groove even when it feels like deja vu Hey. I know I've been away awhile. I've been doing a lot writing lately. I also setup a new page on Facebook, C.C.Night. (https://www.facebook.com/CCNight24/). Classes also started back up 2 weeks ago. I've also gearing up to switch jobs. On top all of that I've been trying to play my acoustic guitar. I'm ok until I start adding my pinky, my fingers just aren't long enough. lol.
Anyway, by Christmas I should have a final cut of Middle Class Dreamer. I just have to put the final chords to it before I record. I've also hashed out several other sets of lyrics and I just started a new one last week. Middle Class Dreamer Drive Away Times That Get Me Down Sadness Falls Again Deja Vu (this is the new one I'm working on) Time to make my move Making calculations not enough time for this trying something new but it feels like deja vu Glimpses of the pieces and it never ceases trying to figure the riddle without the full puzzle Is life mine to choose or is it all just deja vu? Hope to stay in touch with those of you that check in. Feel free to leave a comment or send me a message. C.C. Night |
